Should I book an online reservation, or can I walk in We HIGHLY recommend that you book a game online, even if it is close to the time you want to come in. Booking a game online guarantees you and group get to play the room you want! There is minimum risk in booking online as you can change your date and time (with at least 6 hours notice). You can book a game 40 minutes before it starts, and on weekends it can be as little as 10 minutes before the game. We do staff by appointment as well so it is very helpful for you to book your game online! There also may not be staff at the building at all times during business hours if we don't have games booked. So go ahead to the BOOKNOW tab and reserve your room!
What are the prices? Do we host events? Absolutely! We love hosting everything from birthday parties and team-building events to school groups, youth organizations, and private celebrations. Be sure to check out our Events page for all the details, pricing, and packages! Here's the quick overview: Tinley Park: Located in the heart of Downtown Tinley Park, our location can accommodate up to 22 players at one time and is just steps away from fantastic restaurants—perfect for continuing the celebration after your escape room experience. Mokena: Our Mokena location accommodates up to 15 players at one time and features private on-site event space, where we host curated parties complete with board games, bonus puzzles, interactive activities, and plenty of space to celebrate. Have a larger group? No problem! We regularly host groups well beyond those capacities by running multiple waves, allowing everyone to participate while keeping the experience fun and organized.
What are escape rooms? Escape rooms are interactive, real-life adventure games where players work together to solve puzzles, find clues, and complete tasks within 60 minutes to "escape" from a themed room or accomplish a specific goal. They follow a storyline. These games require teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
How long does the escape room experience take? The actual game itself allows up to 60 minutes to escape. Some players escape before the 60 minutes is up, while others need extra time. We allow an additional 5 minutes to solve the mystery beyond the 60 minutes as long as you arrived on time. It takes about 5-10 minutes to watch intro videos, put belongings away, and use the restrooms before the game starts.
Do I need to book my whole group at one time? The minimum of players that you need to book online is 2. The booking of two will be enough to hold the entire game. You can bring additional players on the day of and they can pay in person. We allow a maximum of 3 additional transactions in the store per-evet. We do not have enough staff to be able to take all the individual payments so we ask large groups to try and arrange a way to minimize transactions between each other. When should we arrive? You and your group should arrive about 5 or 10 minutes before your game. At this time you will sign a waiver, use the bathroom, put away coats/personal items, and watch two intro videos. You will then start your game for the time you booked.
Can kids play these games? Absolutely! All of our games are family/friendly and have puzzles for children to participate in. If you plan to have a kids only party, we will adapt the rooms to be more achievable. You can indicate the participants as "child" when booking or you can call us to set up a child party. We may ask an adult to join the room. We highly recommend either "Written in the Stars" or "Backyard Secrets" as our most kid friendly games.

What is your refund or reschedule policy? We do not offer refunds except in extraordinary circumstances. If you need to reschedule your reservation, we ask for at least 6 hours' notice. With 6+ hours of notice, we'll gladly move your reservation to another available date and time at no charge. If you need to reschedule with less than 6 hours' notice, we'll always do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to accommodate your preferred date or time. As a small business, each reservation requires us to schedule staff and reserve game time specifically for your group. Last-minute changes make that much more difficult, so we truly appreciate as much notice as possible. Thank you for understanding and helping us provide the best experience for all of our guests!
What is the difficulty of the rooms? We consider our games to be about medium difficulty over all, although the games difficulty does vary. All of our game difficulty will vary depending on how many players there is. Groups of 2 may have a harder time some of the games based on the volume of puzzles , not necessary the difficulty of the puzzles. With that said, all of our games are absolutely achievable with groups of 2! Backyard Secrets- Easy 5/10 (high volume of puzzles) Written in the Starts - Easy - Medium 5/10 for large groups and 7/10 for groups of 2 (there is a high volume of puzzles, but the puzzles are on the easier side) Bottled Up - Medium/hard 8 /10 (good for groups of 2, some tech puzzles) The Loft - Medium- 6.5 /10 (some mechanical mechanisms) Studio 13- Hard - 9/10 (multiple tech puzzles)
How far in advance should I book a game? It's completely up to you! If you have a specific date, time, or room in mind, we recommend booking as early as possible to make sure you get exactly what you want. Not 100% sure of your plans yet? No problem! You can reschedule your reservation up to 6 hours before your game with a quick phone call, so many guests prefer to reserve first and adjust later if needed. Feeling spontaneous? We love that too! You can book online up to 45 minutes before a game starts, so last-minute adventures are always welcome. While we typically have availability between our two locations, Saturday evenings, holidays, and other busy seasons can fill up quickly. Booking ahead is always the best way to secure your preferred experience.
What types of payments do you accept? We offer several convenient ways to pay! Online Bookings: Reservations made through our website are securely processed through Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as popular digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay (when supported by your device and browser). In-Store Payments: If you're a walk-in or need to add additional players, we process payments through PayPal Point of Sale, which accepts all major credit and debit cards, contactless payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported digital wallets. Invoices: For larger groups, corporate events, schools, and private parties, we're happy to send a PayPal invoice directly to your email, allowing you to pay securely online before your event. Cash: We do accept cash; however, card payments are preferred. Because we keep very limited cash on hand, we may not be able to break large bills. If paying with cash, we kindly ask that you bring close to the exact amount whenever possible.
Do you always have employees at the facility during operating hours? Not always—and that's by design! To better serve our guests while keeping our weekday hours as flexible as possible, many of our Game Masters are on call during slower times. The best way to ensure a staff member is ready for your arrival is to book your game online. Our team is automatically notified when a reservation is made, and you can typically book as little as 30–60 minutes in advance. Planning to walk in? This scheduling model allows us to offer more operating hours throughout the week while continuing to provide the same high-quality experience once your game begins
How far in advance do I need to book an event? The earlier, the better, but we're surprisingly flexible! If we have the availability, we'd love to help make your event happen, even on relatively short notice. If you're planning a larger group or have a specific date in mind, we recommend booking as early as possible. However, don't assume it's too late! Give us a call or reach out to check availability, you never know what we may be able to accommodate, and we'll always do our best to make it work.
